2023 Gift Guides
My gift guides are finally here, just in time for the holiday season! You’ll find gift guides for her, for him, for parents/in-laws, beauty-specific, travel, home + kitchen, and stocking stuffers. Each gift guide has items I know your loved ones will appreciate and enjoy – most are items that have already been tested by yours truly π A variety of price points are represented so all budgets are welcome! All gift guides also have a slight twist on sustainability – many items use sustainably sourced ingredients/materials, are B-Corp certified, use recycled packaging, and/or boast ethical labor practices.
Note that many of these links will take you to the post on LTK (a shopping app). I receive a small commission when you shop through my links – it means so much because I spent a lot of time curating these lists for you!
Happy holidays and happy shopping!
FOR HER: FASHION
- Platform Mini Uggs: how can something so ugly be so cute?! Ugh π Anyway, they’re guaranteed to be worn for years!
- Ribbed Bodysuit: my new favorite everyday athleisure!! Been wearing this on repeat.
- LAKE Pajamas: the best pajamas, no contest!!! Truly anyone would love to get these as a gift π
- New Balance 530 sneakers: trendy dad fashion but make it comfy (just bought these for our upcoming Europe trip!).
- Cheap Polarized Sunglasses: $11 and I’ve worn these daily for over a year now. You don’t need fancy expensive sunglasses anymore because these are better. The best!
- AYR Menswear Oversized Shirt: I have and LOVE this shirt! Really makes a statement but super polished and timeless.
- Beyond Yoga Spacedye Tank: probably the most worn item in my closet. Can’t get enough of the material, and it’s so flattering!
FOR HER: BEAUTY
- Gua Sha Stone: for starting new anti-aging routines in 2024 π
- Beautycounter Vitamin C Serum: there is not a more effective serum on the market!! Been using this every single morning for years. Instant brightness and minimizes redness/dark spots over time. The BEST!!
- Blue Light Blocking Glasses: easiest $10 you’ll spend – these help so much with eye strain!
- Beautycounter Reflect Effect Mask + Applicator: I can’t stop using this mask!! It’s a physical and chemical exfoliant so it gives true results – brightness, plumpness, and smoothness. You’ve got to get the applicator, too – it makes a real difference in exfoliation.
- Alastin Tinted Sunscreen: as much as I love Beautycounter, this tinted sunscreen is even better!! Pricey but worth it.
- Silk Scrunchies: easy stocking stuffer, too! So much safer and healthier for your hair – and they don’t create a crease.
- Cadence Magnetic Capsules: for the traveling girlie who can’t live without her favorite beauty products! A practical + aesthetically pleasing gift is always a winner.
- Goop Salt Scrub Shampoo: been using this for years and still absolutely love it!! Feels great, smells great, and uses safe ingredients.
- Body Dry Brush: there are so many benefits to dry brushing!! Read this post to learn more.
FOR HIM
- Veja Campo Sneakers: timeless and super durable. Hits all the highlights!
- Apple AirTags: anyone else have a hubby who would lose their arm if it weren’t attached to their body? Same. Adding AirTags to the car, in the work bag, etc. will finally bring peace to your marriage π
- Face Sunscreen: so important for the men in our lives to wear sunscreen, too!! This is Jake’s favorite (AKA, the only one he actually wears). Easy to throw in the golf bag!
- Lululemon Joggers: Jake’s most worn item in public.
- Brooklinen Robe: Jake’s most worn item in private π
- Away/Monos Carry-On Luggage: we’ve had our Away luggage for years and it holds up so well. Another opportunity to use an AirTag!
- Mesh Grill Bags: Jake uses these every time we throw veggies on the grill!
- Massage Gun: this is used every single day in our house. So great post-workout and stretch!
- Silk Pillowcase: hear me out on this – I got one for myself and Jake was super jealous. He said, “you don’t care about my hair, too?” Lol. Needless to say, he now has one and he loves it. Talks about it at least once a week. And then we lived happily ever after!
FOR PARENTS/IN-LAWS
- Beautiful Candles: a set of candles to match your MIL’s dining room color pallet would be perfect in concert with gift #7 (candlesticks). You win!
- ChappyWrap Blanket: ugh! So soft, so warm, so aesthetically pleasing. You win again!!
- AeroGarden: fresh herbs, anyone? A new hobby to accompany your FIL’s birdwatching obsession? Can’t stop, won’t stop winning.
- LAKE Robe: warning that this WILL make you the favorite child. LAKE robes (and jammies!) are truly the best!!
- Annual National Parks Pass: dare to be different!! Send your folks outside! PS: there’s a lifetime Senior Pass that you can buy once and then they’re set for life. Tread lightly with the “senior” situation though, ya know?
- Ember Mug: SIL just had a baby? Your mom is a new grandma? Everyone deserves a warm cup of coffee that they didn’t have to heat up 12 times in the microwave. This is a game changer!
- Candlesticks: back to gift #1, this is the perfect gift for the gal in your life who loves to host.
- Leather gloves: classic, beautiful, functional. Never not winning!
STOCKING STUFFERS
- Apple AirTags: get the 4 pack and split them up!
- Beautycounter Body Butters: another perfect gift to split. These body butters are the BEST – they feel (and smell) incredibly luxurious. Only $18 a pop!
- Primally Pure Candle: it’s so important to have safe scents (AKA anything called “fragrance/parfum” is a no-go). These candles not only smell incredible, but the ingredients are top notch.
- Silk Pillowcase: see the “For Him” guide to understand just how much of a crowd pleaser this $11 item can be.
- Attitude Hand Sanitizer Spray: I keep one in my purse and one in the car! Another safe and ethical brand – you know I gotchu π
- Napkin Rings: I just used these for Thanksgiving and they sure are beautiful!! Perfect to throw in a stocking.
- Ilia Lip Wrap: ditch the Chapstick and upgrade to this magic!
- Dropps Wool Dryer Balls: sooo much more sustainable (and safer) than dryer sheets! A fun and easy swap.
- Wine Stopper/Pourer: if you can tell the difference between a $5 and $30 bottle of wine, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re like me and you’re just peachy with the $5 bottle, this is a great gift.
- Boie Face Scrubber: we use both the face and body scrubbers! Fun tip: you can throw them in the dishwasher!! Amazing. Such a simple sustainable swap (also, washcloths are gross).
TRAVEL AND ADVENTURE
- Stasher Bags: sustainability for the win!! Can’t beat these bags for all kinds of things – freezer storage, taking sandwiches to work, the whole shebang.
- Hatch Mini Sound Machine: we actually use this as our everyday sound machine as well. It’s small but mighty!! We travel with it and it’s also very small/inconspicuous on a nightstand at home.
- Cheap Polarized Sunglasses: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – cheap sunglasses for the win!! Have been wearing these daily for years.
- Solo Stove: you’ll win the holidays with this gift. Portable but also perfect to leave out in the backyard!
- Personalized S’Mores Skewers: with gift #4, you’re absolutely unstoppable.
- Rumpl Blanket: there’s something magical about this blanket. We’ve taken it camping, had a picnic with it outside, etc. It’s gotten wet, smudged with s’mores, etc. and it still looks good as new. So very, very, very warm and cozy.
- Annual National Parks Pass: gotta throw it out there again because it’s such a fun and unexpected gift!
- Compressible Packing Cubes: I can’t wait to use these!!! I don’t think you understand how excited I am to use these!! Would be a great gift for the frequent traveler.
- Beautycounter Hand Creams: perfect to split up and throw one in the car, one in your purse, and one on your desk. I’ve loved these lotions for years – safe and amazing scents, too!
HOME AND KITCHEN
- Branch Basics Concentrate: time to ditch the Clorox wipes!! An effective safe/sustainable swap for cleaning supplies. I’ve been using their All-Purpose and Glass cleaners for years and have never looked back.
- Knife Organizer: Maybe I’m crazy, but I hate seeing knives out on the counter. This is the same organizer I have and love!
- Compost Bin: 2024 is the year of sustainability, am I right?! A fun and easy gift to help minimize food waste.
- Napkin Rings: who doesn’t love a beautiful tablescape?!
- Rachael’s Good Eats Cookbook: my absolute favorite food blogger!!! Tons of amazing recipes in here!
- Charcuterie Knives: beautiful and purposeful!
- Vietri Mugs: the Santorini china collection was my main registry item and the entire set is so beautiful!! The mix-and-match look makes the whole table appear really curated.
- Silicone Over-the-Sink Dish Rack: there isn’t a better dish drying rack out there, especially for small kitchens!! We’ve had this for years and I LOVE it.
- Hidden TV Remote Decor: I’m thinking I’m pretty clever for this one π Hide your unwanted but necessary tabletop items with this fake book! Perfect coffee table “decor”.
