We took a trip to St. Maarten this spring with Jake’s family, which we’d been wanting to do for years. It was the BEST time- St. Maarten is such a beautiful island with incredible beaches, food, and people. It was truly a tropical getaway! Read all about our trip (including an itinerary) here!

Anyway, I always have to get a couple new pieces for spring and summer trips! So I thought I would round up my favorite resort wear, including a few sustainable pieces 🙂

Revolve is one of my favorites for special occasion pieces. These heeled slides and this cover-up/kimono are perfect for a tropical vacation- and the kimono is made from lenzing viscose (sourced from sustainable wood + pulp). One of my favorite swimsuits from Aerie that I’ve actually had for years! The top is here and the bottom is here.

This is the suit I purchased for St. Maarten (I usually allow myself to get one new suit a year, and this was the one for 2022). Summersalt is one of my favorite companies because the fit and fabric is perfect- plus they use sustainable fabrics!

I am also obsessed with this two-piece set from Abercrombie– I loved it so much I wore it twice! The shorts are a longer line with an adjustable waistline and the linen fabric is so comfy. There are tons of linen blend tops to choose from!

Last but certainly not least- beach/casual shoes! I’ve had both these sandals from Mango and these raffia pool shoes from Lulu’s for years and they’ve held up super well and are lovely for all manner of summer excursions. I wear the Lulu’s ones at the beach/pool because they’re stretchy (and cheaper), and the Mango ones have a wooden bottom with leather which dresses them up a bit.
