Review: Thrive Market Grocery Membership
Use this link to get 40% off your first order!
If it’s not clear enough from my Instagram stories or the blog, you know I love food. I love to prepare food and I love to eat food. You’ll also be able to tell from the blog and from LTK that I care deeply about health, wellness, and sustainability. Whenever possible, I try to support brands that value sustainable and ethical business practices (like B-corporations!).
What’s so exciting is that these values are extending to the food industry! Jake and I have been Thrive Market members for more than 3 years now (unsponsored!) and will never go back. It’s by far the most convenient, cost-effective way to get many of our favorite healthy pantry staples.
About Thrive Market
Thrive Market is an online grocery delivery service. They specialize in pantry staples and back when I first became a member, that was all they had – but they’ve since expanded to offer a frozen section, sustainably raised meat/poultry/seafood, and an extensive wine area. They also have a beauty and personal care section – basically, they have it all. Joining as a member for $5 a month will get you better-than-the-grocery-store deals on super high quality brands, free carbon neutral shipping, and saving an additional 5% on auto-ship orders.
Why I Love Thrive Market
- Great deals on my favorite brands (especially the ones that are expensive at the store because they’re more “specialty” or “niche”): Lesser Evil, Unreal, Chomps, Primal Kitchen, Tessemae’s, Garden of Life vitamins, KIND, etc.
- Organize the whole website by dietary need: if you need dairy and/or gluten free foods, paleo or Whole30 options, etc., you can filter for those diets so you don’t even see anything else.
- Way better prices than the grocery store and serious markdowns on a regular basis: they always do
- The Thrive Market brand is even more reasonably priced and has super top-notch quality. I love ordering my pantry staples, pasta sauces, EVOO, etc. directly from them.
- Free, FAST, carbon-neutral shipping on all orders above $50.
- Free gifts all the time. I’ve gotten entire KIND bar boxes for free with my order!
- For every membership purchased, they donate a membership to a low income family, teacher, veteran, or first responder.
- Their autoship program saves an additional 5-10% on everything. It’s so easy to skip your order if you don’t need it at that time, and they always remind you several times before your shipment goes out in case you need to cancel.
